Landon Stropko is an experienced Republican policy counsel having worked in the Senate and House of Representatives for over a decade. His political savvy, coalition building experience, and policy chops are an asset to Invariant’s clients on a host of issues from tax and health care to energy policy and the budget.
Landon most recently served as legislative director for Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY), a senior member of the Finance and Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committees and chairman of the Budget Committee. Landon counseled the Senator on major legislation, including tax reform, health care reform, and two budget resolutions. Before that, he was chief of staff and legislative director for Representative Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) while also running the 50-member Congressional Western Caucus. He quarterbacked the Caucus’ priorities on energy, environment, and natural resources issues, including advocating for them during the appropriations process. Earlier in his career, Landon served as legislative assistant for Representative Barbara Cubin (R-WY), working closely with the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Landon holds a Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center and graduated from the University of Wyoming.
