Mark Friedmann supports Invariant’s energy, defense, and startup clients. He produces research and analysis on topics ranging from renewable energy and climate impact to appropriations and homeland security technology.
Mark worked at the Department of Energy during the Obama Administration. He was also the director of operations for the Office of Presidential Personnel at the White House. Most recently, Mark worked as the director of outreach at Quorum, a DC-based tech startup.
Mark graduated from Kent State University and earned his Master’s degree from The George Washington University. He serves on the advisory board of a Virginia ed-tech company, where he helps guide them on growth strategy and product development.
