Mark Friedmann is an analyst serving Invariant’s energy and defense clients. He produces research and analysis on topics ranging from renewable energies and climate impacts to appropriations and homeland security technology. Mark also produces communications and logistical support to better engage clients and their issues.
Mark got his start as the campaign field director for the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Later, he joined the Obama’s Administration where he served in multiple roles including as a presidential appointee at the Department of Energy in the Office of Secretary and as the Director of Operations for Presidential Personnel at the White House, where he helped plan and execute the transition. More recently, Mark worked as the director of outreach at Quorum, a DC-based tech start-up.
Mark graduated from Kent State University and earned his Master’s degree from The George Washington University.
