With more than two decades of food, agriculture, and trade policy experience across Congress, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the private sector, Ken Barbic has carved out a leadership role in Republican politics. In 2018, President Donald Trump appointed Ken as the Assistant Secretary for Congressional Relations at the USDA. In this role, Ken provided political and strategic guidance to the Secretary and senior leadership on engaging in Congress. Before joining Invariant, Ken was the head of policy and government relations at Farmer’s Business Network, where he positioned the company as a thought leader on top issues shaping the industry. Previously, Ken worked for the Western Growers Association, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade.
